How to setup stunnel für SMTP over STARTTLS (and not pure SSL)?
(too old to reply)

Assume my mailbox provider offers only SMTP delivery over STARTTLS (and not pure SSL).

How do I have configure stunnel to cope with this protocol?

Lets say the remote smtp server would be

smtp.foobar.com:587

How would a service section in conf file look like?

Thank you
Ben

Ben you are asking the same question I would! Perhaps your answers will help
me.

I want to use this Windows 10 newsreader: Micro-planet Gravity to be able to
forward posts via email using SMTP.COMCAST.NET. This is an example of what
doesn't work.
[smtp]
client = yes
delay = yes
accept = 127.0.0.1:25
connect = smtp.comcast.net:465

Any help would be appreciated!
